How do I get started?
Buy a starter package from the main store or buy live pigeons or eggs from other members. (new traits are best obtained from starter pack)
What are the basic things I need?
Pigeons - reasonable cost, Food - reasonable cost, Food bowl - free, Nests - free
How come my pigeons do not move?
You need a loft for them to bind to so they can fly from it to the food bowl
Is there a manual on how to help me?
Yes, at the main store you can get a free Q&A manual as a gift with your member tag
When can I start racing them?
Only pigeons you have hatched from eggs will be racers and only after they are 7 days old and have at least 30% happiness.
Why does the main store have a display of pigeons flying over the building?
Racers can fly over their loft after 7 days old. It is recommended to fly them daily or at least weekly to keep their happiness above 30%
Do the pigeons need updates?
Yes, but updates are done by getting free updated nests and new updates appear on the new generation.
Can I keep my pigeons in my inventory?
No, live pigeons will get sick in your inventory after a day and could die past one day. Only eggs can be kept in your inventory.
Is there a market for people to know I am selling pigeons?
Yes, sims and here on the lower level of the main store sim are tables for setting out birds or eggs to sell. Remember live birds need food near them to remain healthy. Your pigeon portal can be used to advertise and sell your pigeons as well.
What if I need help?
Check if a CSR is available and also major issues can be placed on a notecard and dropped into ALi's phone at the main store.
